How long will my order take?
In general, most orders are completed within 3 to 4 business days, however larger orders may take additional time. Please contact us to get a more specific timeline.
How do I get my order to you?
For orders over $100 before tax, a FREE pick-up & delivery service is available. Additionally, you can use a courier service to ship your order directly to us and we will use the same courier to return the order to you. You can also book an appointment online or via phone to drop off your order in person at our location. Our address is 27 Norton Cres, Georgetown, ON L7G 1M9.
Is mailing in my order reliable?
We suggest using a courier company (e.g. Xpresspost, FedEx, UPS, Purolator, etc.) that provide a tracking number to ship your order to us. We will use the same method to ship your completed order back to you.
Can I provide you with a USB or External Drive?
Yes, just make sure your USB or External Hard Drive has enough space to hold your transferred files. If needed, we are able to provide you with a USB or External Hard Drive for an additional fee.
How does your free pick-up & delivery work?
It’s very simple! As long as your order is over $100 before tax, get in contact with us to arrange a specific pick-up date and time. We serve the Greater Toronto Area and Halton Region. Evening and weekend pick-up and drop-off is available.
Can I get multiple copies of the DVD?
Absolutely! We charge a fee of $4.99 per additional CD or DVD.
Do you outsource orders overseas?
Never. All orders are processed locally at our location in Ontario. Unlike our competitors, we never ship your order overseas or outsource it to another company.
Do you accept RUSH orders?
Yes we do, but an additional fee will be charged depending on the size of the order. Please contact us to make arrangements for rush orders.
What type of video tapes do you transfer?
We transfer VHS, VHS-C, Mini DV and Hi8 video tapes to DVD or any digital format of your choice (USB, HDD, SD Card, Online).
Do you transfer PAL video tapes?
Absolutely. We accept both PAL (Europe & Asia) and NTSC (North America) formats.
I don't know how long my video tapes are?
No need to worry! During the conversion process, we can determine exactly how long your tapes are and we only charge by the hour of actual footage on the tape.
What if my tape is longer than 2 hours?
If your video tape is longer than 2 hours, we recommend transferring it onto a USB or an External Hard Drive. Please contact us if you have any questions.
How private are the video transfers?
We always respect your privacy and never share your files with anyone. We keep a copy of your files for 30 days in case any changes are required, after which we delete your files forever.
Are you able to create custom videos for special occasions?
Absolutely. We can create custom videos, slideshows and presentations for any special occasion! Please contact us for pricing.
I have many video tapes. Can I get a better rate?
Of course! We offer a 30% discount for bulk orders. Please give us a call at 647 703 7034 to discuss your order.
If I label my video tapes, can you transfer them in order?
If requested, video tapes will be converted in the same order. If transferring onto a USB or External Hard Drive, we will create a file with the same title as your tape for easy navigation on your computer.
How long will my photo scans take?
Most photo and slide orders are completed within 3-4 business days, however larger orders may take additional time.
Why wouldn't I scan the photos myself?
You most definitely could scan your photos and slides yourself, however it would take weeks, if not months. According to a research firm GfK North America, it would take an average adult 375 hours to scan 3000 slides to digital, when we can scan them in 4 business days at only $0.40 per slide (plus bulk order discount).
What does the term DPI mean?
DPI (dots per inch) is often used in the photo scanning world. DPI is a specification used for printed and scanned media that determines quality. Photos and slides scanned at higher DPI will look sharper and larger. Please contact us if you need assistance choosing the right resolution for you.
Can you create a custom photo slideshow?
Absolutely. We offer a custom photo slideshow with music of your choice for an additional fee of $24.99 (up to 1000 photos).
Other than scanning, what else is done to my photos/slides?
Our photo and slide scanning service includes cleaning, dust removal, photo rotation and basic editing where needed. Photos and slides can be scanned in particular order upon request.
Can I give you my 35mm slides in carousels?
Yes! There is no extra charge for giving us your slides in carousels (80/100/140 trays).
What if my photos are in an album and not separate?
That’s no problem! We will remove the photos from your album and scan them in that exact same order for an additional fee of $0.15 per photo. For photographs that cannot be removed from the album, a charge of $0.30 per photo will apply.
